GERMANY

New Zealand and Germany business ties

Germany and the countries of northern Europe are wealthy and sophisticated economies, with a wide range of opportunities and partnership potential for New Zealand businesses.

New Zealand meat, wine and horticultural products are sought after by German and northern European consumers, with buyers increasingly aware of the natural health properties and ethical, sustainable production processes behind what they purchase. This also offers opportunities for New Zealand companies to provide innovative value-added products to meet European requirements.

Demand for New Zealand innovation also extends into the manufacturing sector, where our companies are offering niche, technology-based solutions within complex supply chains, making inroads into large European multinationals and in significant sectors including health, marine and agritech.
